Popular auto brand Honda Cars India is all set to launch the new City facelift, facelift versions on March 2, 2023. Before the launch, photos and videos of the 2023 Honda City facelift have been leaked on the internet. The leaked photos reveal many things about the updated mid-size sedan.

Notably, this new model comes with cosmetic design changes. It gets a slightly revised bumper, a slimmer chrome bar for the grille section. The grille comes with sharp style headlamps with nine LED arrays. The leaked images also suggest that the sedan will sport a new blue paint shade. The side profile is similar to the existing model. At the rear, the 2023 Honda City facelift will see new bumpers and repositioned reflectors.

The 2023 Honda City facelift is similar to the current model. It comes with new features like wireless charger and ventilated seats. The company will also update the City sedan and variant lineup. Also, the new City facelift comes with an updated touchscreen infotainment unit with smartphone connectivity.

Only available in the top-spec ZX trim, the City with the hybrid powertrain is priced significantly lower than the standard City petrol. Reports suggest that Honda will introduce a new variant, the City Hybrid, which will help bridge the gap between the petrol and powerful hybrid variants.
The new City sedan does not come with a diesel engine option as the current 1.5L engine has not been upgraded to meet the upcoming Real Driving Emission (RDE) norms. Current petrol and petrol hybrid powertrains have been updated to meet RDE standards with E20 (20 per cent ethanol blend) fuel.

The 2023 Honda City is powered by a 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 121 bhp of power and 145 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic. A powerful hybrid version is coming, Honda e:HEV with 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine with hybrid tech. This engine produces a combined power of 126 bhp. It will give tough competition to the new model Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, Maruti Ciaz and the upcoming new generation Hyundai Verna.
