Key issues are coming to light in the Nikki Yadav murder case in Delhi. A police constable from Delhi was also found to be among those involved in the murder of Nikki and then hiding the body in the fridge. Nikki Yadav was murdered by her partner Sahil Gehlot with a charging cable and then hid in a fridge. But the police said that his father, two relatives and two friends helped Sahil in this conspiracy. One of the accused, Sahil’s cousin Naveen, is working as a constable in the Delhi Police.
Further, the police sources revealed on Saturday that Nikki Yadav-Sahil got married in 2020. But Sahil Gehlot’s family did not approve of this marriage. They wanted to get rid of Nikki Yadav..so that he could marry another woman. “The accused convinced Sahil to leave Nikki Yadav on several occasions. They kept putting pressure on him,” a police officer was quoted as saying by PTI.
Sahil’s family has arranged his marriage with another woman in December 2022. After that Nikki was kept in the dark. Sahil hides from Nikki that he is going to marry another woman. And, on the wedding day with another woman.. Nikki and Sahil had a fight over this matter. On the same day, Sahil strangled Nikki Yadav with a charging cable. But Sahil along with other accused planned to kill Nikki Yadav before the wedding day. After the murder, the accused helped Sahil to keep the dead body in the fridge.

“They kept it in the fridge thinking that the dead body would be fresh and not smell bad. Being busy for at least three days of the wedding, no one will suspect or detect anything unusual. “The accused wanted to dispose of her body later,” Delhi Police sources said.
