The Cabinet meeting chaired by Telangana Chief Minister KCR has concluded. The Cabinet meeting held at Pragati Bhavan lasted for about 40 minutes. In this meeting, the budget proposals were discussed and approved. Also, it seems that the Cabinet has approved many bills. Further, the annual budget of Telangana will be presented in the assembly on the 6th of this month. Finance Minister Harish Rao will present the budget in the Legislative Assembly at 10.30 am on Monday.
The Assembly was declared a holiday on the 7th of this month, the day after the Budget was presented. A general debate on the budget will be held on the 8th of this month. Finance Minister Harish Rao will answer on the same day. There will be a discussion on the Paddus on February 9, 10 and 11. The government will introduce the Currency Exchange Bill in the House on February 12. On the same day, the bill will be approved by the House.
Leader of the House and Chief Minister KCR stated in the report presented in the House that the question and answer time will be taken up in the House from February 9. Further, the Assembly is likely to be adjourned indefinitely after the 12th.
