The government of Telangana has become alarmed in the wake of the violent deaths of many students, including Satvik, an inter student of Nursing Sri Chaitanya College. A meeting will be held with the owners of private inter colleges in the state tomorrow.

The series of suicides of inter-students in Telangana is causing a stir. In this context, the state government has become alert. An important meeting will be held with the owners of private inter colleges tomorrow at the Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Center in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested four persons in connection with the suicide case of Satvik, an inter student of Nursing Sri Chaitanya College, which created a sensation in the Telugu states. Lecturer Acharya, Warden Naresh, who was mentioned in Satwik’s suicide note as the reason for his death, along with two others were detained by the police. Later, the four were produced before the Rajendranagar Magistrate by the Narsinghi police. Satvik asked in the suicide note not to leave them saying that he is committing suicide due to their harassment.

Satvik, the youngest son of Rajaprasad and Alivelu, who lives in Shadnagar of Rangareddy district, is studying inter-professional at Srichaitanya College of Nursing. He committed suicide by hanging himself in the college hostel on Tuesday. But Satvik’s parents and fellow students say that the reason for Satvik’s suicide was harassment by college lecturers. His parents said that Satvik told them that the lecturers were harassing him for getting low marks. They want to take strict action against those responsible for this. It was in this order that Satvik’s family members and other students started protesting on a large scale.

Earlier on Thursday, the Telangana Intermediate Board also conducted an inquiry into the suicide incident of Satvik. Officials visited Sri Chaitanya College, Narsinghi under the auspices of DEO. It seems that the authorities have also prepared a preliminary report regarding this incident. In this order, the Inter Board issued notices to Mr. Chaitanya’s management. Based on the explanation given by Mr. Chaitanya’s management, the officials will prepare a report and submit it to the Inter Board Commissioner.
