The terror of terrorists in Karachi.. Carnage in the police headquarters for four hours!


Terrorists are on the rampage in Karachi, Pakistan. They entered the local police headquarters with weapons and opened fire. Nana was shocked. The police said that the terrorists entered the police chief’s office in Sharia Faisal area with a huge amount of grenades and automatic guns. Sindh government spokesman Murtaza Wahab strongly condemned the incident. Tweeting on his official Twitter handle.. “So far I can confirm that KPO building has been cleared. Three terrorists have been killed by security forces in this attack.” Said that.

Four people, including two policemen, a Rangers solider and a civilian, were killed and 14 others injured in the terrorist attack, he said. He said that the condition of one of the injured is critical and is being treated at Jinnah Hospital.

The incident started when heavily armed terrorists attacked the KPO building on Friday evening. Gunshots and explosions could be heard in the surrounding area, and police closed down traffic on the main road through the city. Heavy security forces, including paramilitary troops, were rushed to the spot. An operation has been launched to clear the building of terrorists.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah reacted to the operation by security forces. He lauded the courage and professionalism of the personnel of law enforcement agencies including the police and Rangers for successfully recapturing the KPO building from the terrorists. He said that soldiers and officers have shown courage against the terrorist attack. Condolences were given to the three martyrs who lost their lives in the attack. The CM assured that the 11 people injured in the attack will be given the best treatment and that the government will always stand by the families of the martyrs.

Sources told The Express Tribune that two Special Service Group (SSG) teams of the Pakistan Army are leading the clearance operation. Special Operations Wing (SOW) troops of Pakistan Rangers Sindh also took part in the operation, he said. DIG South Irfan Baloch said at least six terrorists managed to enter the Karachi police office through the back door.

He said that immediately after entering the office, the terrorists opened fire indiscriminately and after several minutes, huge explosions were heard, and in this sequence, a powerful explosion was related to the suicide bomber detonating his explosives on the fourth floor. Parts of the building were damaged in the attack and a bomb disposal squad was called to the spot, he said. According to Reuters, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.

Earlier, Sindh Chief Minister’s Adviser Murtaza Wahab said that the KPO is a three-storeyed five-storeyed building where law enforcement agencies (LEAs) including the police, army and Rangers have so far chased away the terrorists.

After the attack, police personnel immediately retaliated and personnel from other police stations and police commandos were called in to deal with the emergency, police officials said. Additional IG Javed Alam Odhu confirmed the attack on the police office and said that security personnel were fighting the terrorists and a large number of Rangers had also reached the spot.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took note of the terror attack and directed the District Inspectors General (DIGs) to send necessary police force to the spot from their respective zones. In a statement, he directed the authorities to arrest the accused immediately. In his statement, he said that the attack on Karachi Police Chief’s office is not acceptable under any circumstances and he has sought a report of the incident from the concerned officer.

Responding to this attack, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon strongly condemned the attack. He said the terrorists tried to challenge the provincial government’s writ. He said that CM Murad is personally monitoring the police operation and the Rangers will not allow the terrorists to achieve their evil goals. He denied that the provincial government had received any terror alerts regarding any attack.

External Affairs Minister and PPP Chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari condemned the terrorist attack on Karachi Police. The Sindh Police has bravely faced and suppressed terrorism before. We have every confidence that they will do so again. He wrote on his official Twitter handle that such cowardly attacks will not stop them.
