Another tragedy happened in the family of legendary director K. Vishwanath. His wife Jayalakshmi (86) breathed her last on Sunday. Within 24 days of her husband K Vishwanath’s death, she also got married. Due to this, Vishwanath’s family was deeply saddened.
Jayalakshmi has also been ill for some time now. Due to this, the family members are treating her at Apollo Hospital. Today she passed away at 6.15 pm as her health deteriorated.
Jayalakshmi also died in the emergency ward where K Vishwanath died, her family members said. With this, it is believed that this couple showed the same bond even in death.
Jayalakshmi’s last rites are going to be performed at the Panjagutta crematorium on Monday, family members said. Vishwanath and Jayalakshmi had three children, Kashinath’s Rabindra Nath, Nagendra Nath and Padmavati Devi. As both the mother and father were separated within 24 days, the family members were deeply saddened.
It is known that K. Vishwanath died of illness on February 2. Whenever film celebrities visited Vishwanath’s house, both of them would warmly greet them and give them hospitality. Celebrities like Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan and Trivikram have close connections in K Vishwanath’s family.
