A woman killed her husband and in-laws in Noonmati, Guwahati, cut their bodies and hid them in a fridge, police said. Police said that a woman named Vandana Kalita had an extra-marital affair and committed this atrocity in this order. Vandana Kalita and her boyfriend’s body were taken to Chirapunji in neighboring Meghalaya, 150 km from Guwahati, three days after killing husband Amarajyoti Dey and aunt Shankari Dey. Both of them threw the body parts of the dead there. The police found them. A police team rushed to the spot in Meghalaya’s Cherrapunji where she, her boyfriend’s mother and her son’s body parts were dumped, a police official said.
Vandana kills them before dismembering the bodies. Later, she kept the body parts in the fridge, police said. Meanwhile, Shraddha Walker was murdered by her boyfriend Aftab Poonawala in Delhi last year. In this incident, it came to light that her body was cut into pieces and put in the fridge and dumped after a few days. The current incident in Assam is similar to this. She also cut the dead body and hid it in the fridge. Also, another incident of similar nature has come to light in the national capital of Delhi. Nikki Yadav was murdered by her partner Sahil Gehlot and kept her body in a fridge in his restaurant in Delhi. After learning about this, the police registered a case and arrested the accused.
