A young woman attacked her boyfriend with cooking oil in Erode district of Tamil Nadu. She committed this incident that he was cheating her. Locals took the young man to the hospital as he screamed after the spill of oil.

CHENNAI: A young woman poured oil on her boyfriend saying that he was cheating on her. The young man screamed for help as his hands and face were on fire. He was taken to the hospital. Police arrested the girl. It is noteworthy that the young woman and the young man are relatives. The incident took place in Erode district of Tamil Nadu.
Karthi, a young man from Varnapuram in Bhavani, works in a private company in Perundurai. He went into a relationship with his cousin Meena Devi. Both of them have been in love for years. Karti also promised that he will marry her. But Meena Devi comes to know that Karti is cheating on her.
Karti learns that he is getting ready to marry another young woman and that the engagement has also taken place with that young woman. After that, Karti was rejected by Meena Devi. The police said that there were frequent fights between them regarding this matter.

In this background, when Karthi went to meet Meena Devi, the argument reached a climax. Meena Devi poured boiling oil on Karti. Karthi fell down with the hot oil. His hands and face were on fire. He screamed for help. Neighbors immediately came there and took Karti to the hospital. Police arrested Meena Devi. An investigation has been started in the case.
