It is known that untimely rains have flooded the Telugu states. While the people who are suffering from heat and cold are enjoying the rain, on the other hand, the breadwinners are drowning. Many crops in lakhs of acres have been severely damaged due to rain in both the states. Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan responded to this. He demanded the government to help the farmers who lost their crops. According to the preliminary estimate, crops have been damaged in 2 lakh acres. Pawan expressed his grief that the rains with hailstorms are depressing them even more.

Janasenani revealed that chilli farmers in Kurnool and Anantapur districts.. Krishna and West Godavari districts.. Mango, tobacco and corn farmers.. Horticultural crops in Ananta.. Paddy crops in Nellore have been severely damaged. Apart from these, banana, maize, watermelon and papaya crops have also been badly damaged, said Pawan. He asked the state government to respond immediately and support the farmers.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in Telugu states for another three days. According to the Meteorological Department, Droni is continuing at a height of 0.9 km above sea level from North Tamil Nadu to Konkan coast via Karnataka. The surface circulation is spread from the neighboring areas of Bangladesh through Odisha to North Coastal Andhra. Due to this effect, the Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of rain in Telugu states. Heavy rains are likely to occur in many parts of Telugu states on Saturday and Sunday. The Meteorological Department said that there is a chance of rain in Uttarandhra, Godavari and South Coast districts of Andhra Pradesh. It has warned that there is a possibility of lightning in many places. People are advised to be alert.
