Venky Anna.. Can Rahul be called that? Don’t make YouTube videos.. Tweets war between former cricketers

Team India’s opening batsman KL Rahul’s poor form continues. Criticisms are pouring in on Rahul who is forcing at least a double digit score with the worst game in recent times. Rahul, who was poisonous in Nagpur Test, took the honor of worst performance in Delhi Test as well. However, yesterday (Saturday) former Indian pacer Venkatesh Prasad got angry with a series of tweets on Twitter, comparing Rahul’s failures.

These tweets have gone viral. Venkatesh Prasad’s tweets have become fuel to the fire for the netizens who usually make fun of Rahul. Meanwhile, in the wake of the attack of criticism, former India opener Akash Chopra supported Rahul.

Akash Chopra tweeted, “Venky bhai. Test match is going on. Are you not patient till the end of two innings.. Anyway we are all one. Team India. I’m not saying take back your criticisms. But timing is important. Actually our game is about ‘timing’..” he tweeted.

Venkatesh Prasad also gave an emotional reply to this tweet. In response to Akash’s tweet.. ‘Truthfully, Akash believes that I did the right thing. In my view, even if Rahul scores a half century in the second innings, he will be criticized in the same way. Do I justify my comments? It is not a matter of criticizing before the match.. while it is happening.. after it is over. I want to tell you something. Your videos are good on YouTube. I am enjoying watching them..’, again Chopra replied without saying a word.

Prasad responded to Rahul on Saturday.. ‘This failure continues. This shows the shortcomings of Team India’s management. As far as I know, no player in Indian cricket has played so many Tests with such a low average in the last 20 years. Including him in the team is like killing justice. Team India’s former openers Siva Sundar Das and Shathagopan Ramesh have great ability.. Their average is 38 plus but they are limited to 23 Tests. If you see Rahul being given consecutive opportunities, it goes without saying that there are no batsmen in India. For the last five years, Rahul has been playing badly with an average of 27 in 47 innings.

No other player has been given as many chances as KL. This is serious discrimination. KL Rahul may be a good player but his performances have been poor for a long time. Now, if he plays another good innings, he can spend happily for two years without any problem. The team management and selectors are giving opportunities to players with poor form like Rahul without giving chances to talented players. Shikhar Dhawan has a 40 plus average in Tests. Mayank averages 41 plus. He also scored two double centuries in Tests. Shubman Gill is in Jabardast farm. What is special about Sarfaraz Khan? Many national players are consistently performing well in first-class cricket, but the selectors are not paying attention to them…’ said Fire.
