Violence in Kashmir is decreasing significantly


Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that due to the policies adopted by the NDA government led by Prime Minister Modi, the violence in Kashmir has reduced significantly. He said that the zero tolerance policy adopted by his government towards terrorism will be continued from now on as well.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has made it clear that the zero tolerance policy adopted by Prime Minister Modi’s government against terrorism will continue in the future. Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the 54th Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Rising Day Parade at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) in Hyderabad on Sunday. On this occasion, he said that separatism, terrorism and anti-national activities in any part of the country will be dealt with strictly.

Amit Shah said that the NDA government has successfully faced the internal security challenges in the last nine years and the violence in Kashmir is reducing significantly. The Union Minister reiterated that the insurgency has also reduced in the North-East and left-wing extremism-affected areas and the confidence of the people is increasing.

Amit Shah said that the number of people participating in terrorist activities is decreasing and many are giving up arms and joining the mainstream. For the first time, the CISF is organizing the annual Rising Day celebrations at the CISF National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) in Hakeempet.

The CISF was established on 10 March 1969 by an Act of the Parliament of India. Since then CISF Rising Day is being held every year on March 10. Last year, Amit Shah participated in the 53rd Rising Day celebrations of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. News agency ‘ANI’ reported that the CRPF will hold its annual Emergence Day on March 19 in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, which was once the stronghold of Left Wing Extremism (LWE).
