SP president Akhilesh Yadav criticized the central government under Prime Minister Modi and CM Yogi. Raising questions over the results of the 2022 state assembly elections, Akhilesh Yadav said people will have to vote to save the Constitution in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Targeting the Yogi government, he said that there are more than 20 thousand illegal buildings of BJP leaders in Varanasi, when will the BJP government run bulldozers on them. Akhilesh Yadav, who attended a private function in Bijnor, asked this while talking to reporters.
Akhilesh Yadav has accused the ruling party BJP and the administration of jointly defeating the winning opposition candidates with ‘honesty’ in the state assembly elections (UP Election 2022) held last year. The people of the country should vote to save the Constitution in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Referring to Naeemul Hasan, who contested from Dhampur assembly seat, the SP chief said that Hasan, who won with 203 votes, was declared defeated. Akhilesh Yadav claimed that the BJP leader’s audio was broadcast during the election. He said that when the SP government comes to power, they will conduct a forensic investigation on the audio to find out the extent of interference by the administration in the election results.
Bulldozers on illegal buildings
Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP leaders have more than 20 thousand illegal buildings in Varanasi alone. SP MLA Shazil Islam in Bareilly alleged that the administration had vandalized a petrol pump but no action was taken against the illegal nursing homes and petrol pumps owned by the BJP. The SP chief asked when the state government would start bulldozers on the illegal encroachments of his party.
Agencies to hide corruption
Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the government is attacking the opposition with the help of bulldozers. He alleged that the money of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and State Bank of India (SBI) has been flooded, but the central government is attacking the opposition by using CBI, ED and income tax departments as weapons to hide its corruption and scams. .
