Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Chaubey said that those who insult Hindu daughters will have their hands cut off. The RJD leaders suggested that if they want to marry their children to people belonging to other social groups, they can do so freely.

BJP Lok Sabha MP and Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Chaubey said that those who insult the daughters of Sanatana Dharma will cut off their hands. “The daughters of Sanatana Dharma are the daughters of our country. I will cut off the hands of whoever plays with their honor. However, if RJD leaders want to give their daughters (for marriage) to other social groups… they can do so freely,” Chaubey said.

He reiterated that India is a Hindu country and will remain so. The minister’s remarks came a day after Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) legislator Bhai Virendra commented that the daughters of senior BJP leaders LK Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi had married Muslim men.
Bhai Virendra said that BJP leaders should protect their daughter from Muslims. Another BJP leader, MLC Santosh Singh responded to this.. “RJD leaders are mentally bankrupt. If any Muslim youth points a finger at the girls of the Hindu community, I will cut off their finger.”
