When will the Prime Minister of Japan visit India?

After Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s visit, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will visit India. He is coming to India on March 20 and will be touring till March 21. This information was disclosed by the Ministry of External Affairs. On this occasion, it is reported that many issues will be discussed in addition to enhancing bilateral cooperation in many fields. According to news agency PTI, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is on an official visit to India from March 20 to 21. During this visit, he will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Ministry of External Affairs said that the two sides will discuss bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

Besides expanding bilateral cooperation in many areas including trade and investment, India’s chairmanship of G-20 will also be discussed. The two leaders will also discuss the priorities of India’s chairmanship of G20 and Japan’s chairmanship of G7, the MEA said. The MEA said they will also discuss their priorities for the respective presidencies of the G7 and G20. But this will not affect India’s forthcoming chairmanship of the G-20 group of economies. Kishida is said to be keen to further strengthen ties with countries like India to pave the way for a successful G-7 in-person summit to be held in the western Japanese city of Hiroshima in May. Hiroshima was the same city that was destroyed by the American atomic bomb during World War II

Australian Prime Minister’s visit

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese reached Delhi on Thursday evening after completing his programs in Ahmedabad and Mumbai. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Anthony and Prime Minister Modi agreed to further strengthen defense ties and conclude the India-Australia Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) soon. PM Albanese said both sides are considering strengthening CECA by 2023.
