Former minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy has countered AP CM YS Jagan’s comments against TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, he questioned whether any party would meet with the YCP. Somireddy asked whether there is a party that will run with you in even one of the 175 seats. Chandramohan Reddy reminded that contesting alone is not new to TDP. They have contested alone in several elections. Somireddy said that we have become partners in the National Front, UPA and NDA governments. Chandramohan Reddy complained that no one came forward to meet Jagan because he was a dictator and an anarchist. He reprimanded Jagan saying what is the point of bragging about such a thing.
Earlier on Tuesday, speaking at the third installment of Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan fund program in Tenali, Jagan criticized Chandrababu Naidu’s caref address for drought. He said that during the tenure of Chandrababu Chandrababu as CM of Andhra Pradesh, drought was eradicated. He said that there was no drought in the last four years. CM Jagan reminded that not a single mandal in the state has been declared as a drought mandal. Many reservoirs in the state are full.

He said that 50 lakh farmers of the state will get benefit with Rythu Bharosa. The CM reminded that apart from the farmers who have a degree, they are providing farmer assurance funds to the farmers of assigned lands and tenant farmers as well. Through Rythu Bharosa Rs. CM Jagan explained that 27 thousand crores have already been provided. The CM said that they are supporting the farmers from seeds to fertilizers through RBK centers. CM Jagan explained that RBK centers in the state have set an example for many states in the country.
CM Jagan said that the yield of food grains has increased to an average of 166 lakh tonnes in four years. For collection of grain Rs. He said that 55 thousand crores have been spent. CM Jagan said that it is his government’s history of providing input subsidy in farmers’ accounts in the same year if farmers suffer due to natural calamities.
