The meeting of the Guntur Municipal Corporation turned into a ruse. There was an argument between the members of the ruling party and the opposition that funds were not being given for the development of the wards. They criticized each other. On the other hand, the YCP corporators expressed their anger in the council that Guntur MP was not seen. The members alleged that MP Jayadev, who said he would serve the people, was not seen. This led to a clash between YCP and TDP corporators. Mayor Kavati Manohar adjourned the council amid protests from members.
