The Youth Congress has objected to the Formula race being held in Hyderabad. Youth Congress leaders protested at Khairatabad Junction saying that there is no use in car racing. The Youth Congress leaders who came near Khairatabad junction tried to run towards the necklace road where the formula race is being held. Alarmed by this, the police stopped the Youth Congress leaders. They were taken into custody and moved from there. Due to this, there was a tense situation at Khairatabad Junction for a while.
The first ever FIA Formula Championship in India will be held today around a special track (street circuit) built around Hussainsagar in Hyderabad. To create awareness on the track, Pre-Practice-1 was conducted on Friday and Pre-Practice-2 was conducted on Saturday from 8 am to 9 am. Then the curtain will rise for the qualifying round. Many celebrities including Sachin Tendulkar, Ram Charan Tej, Dulquer Salmaan, Shikhar Dhawan, Union Minister Kishan Reddy are watching this race.
The racers will race on a 2.83 km track built around the Tankbund. Special galleries have been set up to watch the stunts of the racers. The ticket prices have been fixed at one thousand, four thousand, seven thousand and ten thousand five hundred.
What is the formula of this race?
This racing is going to be done with electric cars unlike normal racing cars. Its main purpose is to reduce carbon emissions and increase public awareness of electric vehicles. In the name of ‘Go Green’, the countries are promoting ‘Formula E races’ instead of F1 races in the interest of environment. Its main purpose is also to reduce the use of petrol and diesel cars.
